What does it mean when a red slash appears over the battery symbol when charging?

When the KIT is too hot or too cold to charge, the red slash battery symbol Red_Slash_Battery.jpg appears in the top, right corner of the screen. To fix this issue, do the following:

  1. Unplug and power off the unit. 
  2. Wait until the unit has cooled down to normal use temperatures.
    Note: Charging only occurs at temperatures between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C).
  3. Plug the unit in and begin charging again.
